(2914) reported Wednesday that it swung into a net profit for the January-March quarter, thanks to increased sales of tobacco products in overseas markets, offsetting a sales drop at home. The work was carried out by the Duke Center for Nicotine and Smoking Cessation Research (or “Philip Morris South,” as I would call it), which received multi-million dollar funding from Philip Morris.
